The reader site has no reader accounts, comments, ads or external analytics tools. Search terms are sent in the request URL.

After a published article detail stays visible for two seconds, the browser sends a view event to sort popular reviews. A random token lives in localStorage and is replaced after 30 minutes without an article view. The server uses an article-specific HMAC value instead of the raw token to exclude repeated views of the same article within 30 minutes.

View events contain only the article ID and time and are deleted after eight days. Administrator article statistics retain only article IDs, Korean calendar dates, and view totals for 90 days. They are not linked to personal reading histories or locations. Administrator pages and local previews are excluded. Deduplication values are deleted after they expire. The metric tables do not store IP addresses, User-Agent strings, cookies, account IDs or raw tokens. Popularity does not measure exact unique people.

Daily visitor statistics retain dates and browser counts. A random daily token is stored in localStorage; the server retains only a date-specific HMAC deduplication value for up to two days. No IP addresses, device details, or raw tokens are stored. Production visitor counts cover rankthree.com only; administrator pages and local previews are excluded. Each browser counts once per day; different devices or cleared storage may count again. Location statistics retain only weekly country and city totals inferred by Cloudflare from IP addresses for the current and previous seven weeks. Locations are not linked to visitor tokens; raw IP addresses, coordinates, and individual location histories are not stored. The administrator sees eight-week country and city totals starting from one visit each. VPNs and mobile networks can make these estimates inaccurate.

Requests are processed to operate the service. Operator details and contact information will be provided before the public launch.
