The three picks at a glance

  • Hetbahn white rice — Familiar white rice beside everyday dishes
  • Hetbahn brown rice — An exact brown-rice product to try in a small quantity
  • Hetbahn sticky multigrain — A blend of several grains to explore

A single pack of ready rice is welcome on an evening when the rice cooker is empty. An online basket can turn that simple purchase into several dozen packs. We compared Hetbahn white rice, brown rice and sticky multigrain rice using CJ’s official product pages checked on October 5, 2026. This is desk research, not a taste test or a health ranking. The photograph shows uncooked white rice, not these packaged products.

Hetbahn white rice

The official description identifies Saecheongmu rice for the product sold as Yungigadeuk Ssalbap. I would look here first if familiar white rice is what you want beside changing side dishes. Use your usual portion as the starting point. The manufacturer’s descriptions of gloss and texture are product claims, not sensations we verified in a tasting.

The drawback of a large bundle is that its apparent value can decide the quantity before you think about meals. Subtract the days you cook rice or eat out from your estimate. The listing we consulted uses 210g packs; a different pack size is not the same unit merely because it carries the same brand. Record the exact name and weight together.

Hetbahn brown rice

This is the candidate to examine when you want rice containing brown rice. CJ describes processing intended to retain its texture. Check the actual ingredient and blend declarations rather than assuming that every product named brown rice is 100 percent brown rice. Brown rice and germinated brown rice are also separate product names; do not merge their listings.

The reason to consider it is variety in the rice you regularly eat, not an automatic nutritional victory. Buy a modest quantity if you have not tried the exact product. We cannot infer your blood-glucose response or appropriate portion from a product name. If dietary management is the purpose, use the exact nutrition label and your individual requirements separately from this shopping comparison.

Hetbahn sticky multigrain rice

CJ lists glutinous rice, non-glutinous rice, black rice and millet in this product. That makes it a candidate for someone curious about a blended-grain meal. It is a different listing from a product simply called black rice. Shortening the name too aggressively can mix ingredient information and product codes from different packs.

More grains do not guarantee a taste everyone will prefer. A manufacturer’s texture description cannot choose for your household. Before ordering a shared box, ask whether the people eating it actually like mixed grains. Try it with the side dishes you normally serve. We have not assigned imaginary scores for flavour, texture or nutritional superiority.

Let the pack set the cooking instructions

The official white-rice and sticky-multigrain descriptions distinguish microwave times by appliance output. Do not turn one listing’s instructions into a universal rule for ready rice. Follow the particular pack’s heating and opening directions and check your microwave power. A familiar brand does not make every capacity and product interchangeable.

For storage, use the label on the delivered item. We have not invented a shelf life or an after-opening storage period. Check condition and date, and do not treat a compromised pack as normal food. If these are backup meals, decide where they will fit and how they will be used in order. Convenience becomes less convincing when an oversized box occupies the space you need for everyday cooking.

Compare the purchase you will actually make

Use the current checkout total, weight, bundle quantity and delivery terms. Coupons and shipping can change the comparison. An old promotion in search results is not today’s lowest price. Nor should a cached dispatch estimate be repeated as a lasting promise. Research date and purchase date are different; read the actual offer again before ordering.

A small first bundle is a practical way to learn your preference. There is no need to stage a three-product tasting dinner. Notice the amount left over, whether you want the same rice again and whether heating fits your routine. The table records ingredient descriptions and purchase questions. Its recommendations are editorial shopping choices, not laboratory results or claims that one pack is healthier for everyone.

Our choice

Begin with white rice for a familiar base, brown rice for that particular ingredient choice, or sticky multigrain for a blend you want to explore. Choose a meal before choosing a box. The useful decision is the amount you will eat and the information on the actual pack, followed by whether you want it again.
