The three picks at a glance

  • Baemin — Check regular restaurants against Baemin Club eligibility.
  • Yogiyo — Check Naver Plus linkage and any duplicate subscription.
  • Coupang Eats — Consider existing WOW use and the actual checkout total.

All three opening screens can look cheap: free delivery, large coupons and membership banners. The differences become clearer at the final checkout. This guide does not declare a nationwide price or speed winner. Offers depend on the restaurant, location, basket and account, so the useful comparison starts with your actual order.

Baemin: is your regular restaurant included?

Look at Baemin's restaurant selection and Baemin Club conditions together. A free-delivery banner still needs to be matched to your restaurant, address and chosen delivery option. The benefit's eligibility and the amount you intended to order matter more than the size of an introductory coupon.

Record the menu price as well. A smaller delivery fee does not establish a smaller total when the dish, portion or paid options differ. Build an equivalent basket before drawing a conclusion. Moving to an unfamiliar restaurant for a coupon is a separate food choice, not merely a lower price for the same meal.

Yogiyo: check the membership you already pay for

Yogipass X has conditions for linkage through Naver Plus. Naver's official help page describes eligible benefits, order conditions and the connection procedure. Check the handling of any separate existing subscription, rather than assuming the same service should be paid for twice.

Read the amount conditions at checkout again. A restaurant's minimum order and a membership benefit's qualifying threshold can both matter. Coupon treatment may also affect eligibility. The checked help page is a source for the current comparison, not a promise that the terms will remain unchanged after this article's research date.

Coupang Eats: an existing WOW subscription changes the calculation

Coupang's official WOW guidance includes Eats benefits. Someone already paying for WOW for shopping may face a different additional cost from someone subscribing only for delivery. In the latter case, divide the monthly fee by the orders you realistically make. Ordering more just because you joined can defeat the saving.

Check the applicable service area and order conditions. Membership is not a guarantee of the same result at every address or restaurant. Delivery options and eligibility can change the comparison. A coupon screenshot from another person is less informative than the total your own account can actually pay.

Put the same dinner in three baskets

Enter the same address and compare close together in time, using the same restaurant, menu and options where possible. If a restaurant is missing from an app, note that you are comparing different restaurants. Add food, delivery and any displayed extra charges, then subtract only the discounts that really apply.

As a hypothetical example, 20,000 won of food plus 2,000 delivery minus an applicable 3,000 discount gives 19,000 won. This is not an observed quote from any of the apps. If qualifying for a coupon requires more food, include that extra spending. A bigger coupon accompanied by a bigger bill is not automatically a better deal.

Speed and subscriptions need a longer view

An arrival estimate reflects that order's circumstances. Rain, a busy kitchen and peak demand prevent it from establishing a nationwide, always-fastest app. We have not placed repeated controlled orders through all three services, so there are no invented speed scores. For an urgent meal, look at today's restaurant and estimate.

For memberships, use the previous month's actual order count. Include unused months, linked benefits and the renewal date. Do not extrapolate one introductory coupon into a year of savings. Comparing two or three regular restaurants provides a useful starting point without making every dinner a fresh examination of promotional banners.

Where we would start

Compare the same regular meal rather than electing a permanently cheapest app. Start with benefits you already have, and use the final checkout amount. Adding food or another subscription to unlock a bigger coupon can make a delivery saving feel much larger than it really is.
